A Newborn's Conversation with God

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to Earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"

God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven, I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."

Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."
"Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you, even if it means risking its life."

"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."

God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard, and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

God said, "You will simply call her, MOM."

Baby Shower

My sister in laws gave me a surprise baby shower when we went to visit over memorial day weekend. I was sooooo surprised! JR even got a very special gift! :)

Some maternity photos from when I was 30 weeks

The last year has been pretty crazy and busy, but so much fun at the same time! Last summer we moved half way across the country for my husbands new job. We loved Maine, but Ohio is wonderful as well. Plus, the winters are much better here! As soon as we got settled in, we started trying for a baby. 6 months later we found out we finally were going to have a little bundle of joy!

This summer gets even more exciting! Our baby is due in less than 2 months. Her due date is August 22, 2008. I am 32 weeks pregnant.

I can actually have here at any moment now. I was just put on bed rest for low amniotic fluid. So this is the main reason for starting this blog back up. I know I am going to get sick of watching t.v and reading all day. I do have other projects planned. I can work on my scrapbooks, and also organize all those old photos I have been putting off. I can also have fun blogging now!

Oh, I forgot to metion....... We just moved in to our new home last weekend! I did manage to set up the baby's room for the most part before I was put on bed/couch rest. The rest of the house is just going to have to wait to be 100% completed.

My husband has been great and so helpful. I didn't realize how handy he is with remodeling. We bought this home 2 months ago and so far the whole house has been painted, new rugs have been installed, the spare bath has been redone and the kitchen has been totally remodeled. My husband has done it all, except the carpets. For $199 we decided to let home depot take care of that! I was trying to do as much as an 8 month pregnant woman can do, but that all stopped pretty much 2 days ago. At least I am not in the hospital on bed rest. The boxes and house decorating can wait.

Fur babies and fish

And soon to come Baby!

We found out last December we were having a baby! Her due date in August 22, 2008. We are thrilled to be blessed with a baby girl. Her name will be Madison Lynn. We can't wait to meet you! XOXOX

Then came Marriage...........

We got married on August 5, 2006. Our wedding was perfect. It was small and we were surrounded by our closest friends and family. I had a blast planning and organizing everything. We couldn't of asked for a more beautiful day! We are celebrating our 2nd anniversary this summer. Hopefully we will be able to get to go to the movies and dinner before the baby arrives! :P

First came LOVE.........

JR and I met in high school-March 2000. I was in 12th grade and he was in 11th grade. I asked him to the prom and he said yes! :) I have never asked a guy out before- but I just knew this was the guy I was going to marry. I really did!

We dated for 3 years before we got engaged. Then we rented an apartment together. That is when our first fur baby arrived- our cat Ginger. Then in 2004 we bought our first home and also got our 2nd and 3rd fur babies- our twin dogs, Rocky and Jackson.

We used these pictures as our engagement pictures. They were taken a few months before our wedding in May/ June 2006. My brother in law made the perfect photographer. He should think about taking up photography on the side. :)
