Finally a tooth!

Pasta Salad

I love making this during the summer (actually anytime) :O) It is very yummy and super easy too!!

****This will feed a TON of people. So it is a great dish to bring to BBQ's. I usually make just half a box of pasta and cut the ingredients in half.

It keeps well in the fridge for 5 days.

My secret ingredient is the dressing. I have tried a few but I think Ken's Zesty Italian has the best flavor.

Tri color Rotini

Cubed or shredded Cheese (I usually use a blockof Cheddar or small bag of shredded)

Veggies (of your choice) Here are the ones I use. I love it to be nice and colorful!

Black Olives (whole or sliced)

Cucumber (peeled and diced)

Grape Tomatoes

Green Pepper

Colored Peppers

1 Cook the Pasta.

2 While the pasta is cooking, wash, peel, chop, vegetables.

3 Drain and rinse pasta in cold water.

4 Put pasta in a large bowl or baking dish.

5 Add Veggies and dressing. Use about 3/4 bottle of the dressing if you make the whole box, or it will be too oily.

6 Enjoy!

Earth Hour 2009

Tonight at 8:30 pm Turn your lights out for 1 hour!

Earth Hour is an international event organised by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund), and held on the last Saturday of March each year, which asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

This is so neat. Make sure you turn off the music below.

Liverpool Street Station ( London ) was an energized place to be at recently while T-Mobile filmed a new advertisement during rush hour! It took 8 weeks of planning, 8 sound tracks of 60s thru 90s music, 10,000 who auditioned, 400 chosen, 10 hidden cameras, and a terminal full of unsuspecting commuters... some of whom obviously missed their trains!

Heroes~ Cold Snap

Heroes is my favorite T.V. show. JR really enjoys it too:O)

This week's episode was really good. We finally found out who "Rebel" is! I should of knew it was Mika! That all makes sense now with all the electronics, cameras, ATM, ect. Peter really saved the day! Can't wait until next episode!

LOST~ He's Our You

I thought last nights episode was great. Last week I predicted Little Ben is going to get killed. JR thought that was silly! HA! I was right! I will not be surprised if he really isn't "dead" I am sure the island will bring him back to life.

I loved this quote:

Sayid: "Who is that guy?"
Sawyer: "He's our you."

Where the Wild Things Are

This was one of my favorite books when I was a child. I am looking forward to the movie! It looks good! It will be in theaters October 16th.

Catch up

I finally got a chance this evening to update my blog. I find the best time to blog (and do almost anything) :O) is when the baby is asleep for the night or during a nap.

Enjoy the new videos! Don't forget to turn the music off at the bottom of the page (Just hit the pause button to stop it).

Also, for those of you that are new to viewing blogs you can see older posts by clicking on that at the bottom of the page above the music box.

Madison crawling updates

She can really move when she wants something!! :O)

Our backyard freebies!

This past weekend we got the garden 90% ready to plant some veggies, trimmed the apple trees, and came across some neat things in the woods behind our fence. Check out the pictures below.

Apple trees!
These are mysery bulb we transplanted from the back of our property. I hope they bloom! I can't wait to find out what they are!

Garden is almost ready for planting. I just need to put some soil on top. We dug up the grass, they put a layer of peat moss, the put the grass back upside down.
We found this neat hollowed out tree trunk on the other side of our fence. JR is going to cut a bit off the bottom and I am going to plant some flowers in it.

Our Furbabies celebrated their Birthday this month too!

I have a scrapbook for the pets and for the past few years I keep forgetting to take a Birthday picture of them to finish the page. I finally got my shots! They enjoyed the cupcake and surprisingly were not all hyped up from the sugar. They have never tasted sweets before :O)

Ginger- 6 years old

You learn something new everyday......

Yesterday I learned what Zumba is all about. Zumba is a latin dance areobic workout. It is so much fun! I am so glad I went! I want to go 2-3 times a week. It doesn't feel like your working out. We were contantly moving the whole class. It was more like a fast dance class. I can't dance, but I was keeping up pretty well. (I think at least) I bet the second class will be a bit easier.

I go to a class at my gym, but I know most YMCA's offer it. I highly recommend!!!

Here is a video from youtube. (not my class)My class was very simular.

Madison seems to love the color yellow...

Here she is with her friend Connor playing together. She always goes for the yellow toys first. Does this mean she is going to have a thing for light haired boys? LOL!

Madison's first swing ride!

This past weekend was so nice!! We took Madison to the park and she got to go on the swins for the 1st time. She loved it!

New Lamp!

I have been wanting to get a new lamp forever. I just haven't found one I loved. I happen to be in Target a couple of days ago and they had a whole new selection of shades. I fell in love with this one. I just new it was the one!! :O)

It looks like just a plain tan lamp when it is turned off. When you turn it on, the design appears and spices it up a bit.

JR's Mustache update

Day 9. He isn't sure if he is going to keep it for the whole month.
