A Happy Post

Since the post below is so depressing, I had to add some Madison pictures here.

Happy Thursday!! I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week and great weekend!! xoxo

I did a HUGE boo boo yesterday!

I wish I could of put a band aid on it and it would of been all better. Unfortunately they don't make car band aids. I backed out of our driveway and hit a car yesterday. To make matters worse it is a friends car that we were watching for her while she is on vacation. We live close to the airport and we offered to drive her that way she can save on parking. It was just a little bump, but it doesn't matter, I still did it. Oh, man. It ruined my day and it was the first thing I thought about when I woke up this morning. I will feel better once it is fixed. We have been watching another car for a another friend while he is over seas and don't worry Don I am staying far far away!!

My neighbor usually has his mustang in the spot where I hit the car, and I have literally backed out of that space hundreds of times. It was like slow motion and it happened so quick at the same time. I literally almost threw up right there. I couldn't really eat anything all day and I still have that pit in my stomach. I was bawling when JR got home, as he thought I was hurt or something.

JR took a couple of pictures that I could email her. I felt a little better once I emailed her, but still I feel like such an idiot. I keep checking my email to see if she read the message yet and saw the pictures. This is the first time I have ever gotten into an accident. Nobody was hurt. I keep telling myself it could of been worse. I also feel so bad that we will be out of town when she picks her car back up so I can't tell her how sorry I am. If you are reading this Amanda, hi!!! I hope we are still friends, and just hand the bill over to us!! I hope you can enjoy the rest of your vacation. I really wish I could rewind my day yesterday and this never happened.

Here are the pictures that JR took. He think the pictures make it look worse. I am not so sure. I have a busy day since I didn't get much done yesterday except this.

Last Friday

Last Friday we went to Dining out at JR's work. Our babysitter took a group shot of us :O) We had a fun time!! I planned on taking more pics since the dinner was at the air force museum, but I forgot and this is all we have :O)

oh, wait.... Oh, I lied. I just remembered we did take more pics that night. Get excited!! We look pretty scary!! I got a run in my panty hose so JR and I pretended we were going to rob a bank. JR was impresses how smooth and nice the panty hose made his skin look. LOL!! Yeah, why the heck do you think us girls wear them! LOL!!

I think we need date nights more often!! We are going kinda crazy!! LOL!!

And just for fun. My new pretty hair cut I got today. It was so hot today I almost wanted to chop it all off!!

The Bachelorette

LOST was good last night! I am sad to see it go, but life goes on. I am loving the new shows Flash Forward and V, and of course I like to throw in a reality show every now and then. I am a sucker for ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachlorette. I am looking forward to watch Ali tonight and I hope she finds her Prince Charming.

(credit: all images are found from abc's website)

You can check out the guys HERE.

I thought it would be fun to pick out my top favorites. It is hard to tell a lot about them by just the picture and a few random facts about themselves, so it will be interesting after tonight's show if they will still be my favorites or if I like any of the guys who I didn't list below. Stay tuned for future blog posts to see my predictions.

As of right now I think these guys are good picks for Ali....

Chris H

Hmm. I am not sure about this one. I need to learn more tonight.

Chris N

I liked his answers to his questions. I think he is one of my favorites.

Craig M

Hmmm. There is something about this guy. I need to learn more tonight.

Craig R

I think Ali and I will like this one.

Frank

I can't tell yet... Not sure if he is ready to settle down from his answers. I think Ali wants a family soon.

Hunter

I think Ali and I will like him. I think he will make it to the last few. Maybe the end?? Well see......

Jay

Seems like he is a safe pick. Good job/ I am sure he has a home. He seems like he is ready for a wife/kids.

Jesse

I am not sure.... will have to see how he is tonight.

John N

I am undecided with him. I don't like the highlights, but that is just cosmetic.

Tyler M

I am not sure about him.

Apple and Sage Pork Chops and a couple other tid bits.

We don't have pork chops for dinner very often. Chicken seems to be our meat of choice. But, every now and then I like to spice things up.

A couple of weeks ago while I was grocery shopping, I came across something new in the spice isle. (I just happened to have my camera with me, so yes I was that crazy lady snapping away pictures for my blog.)

Remember this picture?

Here are a couple more just for fun.

That was the same day I came across these....

Has anyone seen or tried these? I bought 2- the Apple and Sage Pork Chops and the Rosemary Roasted Chicken and Potatoes. I have A LOT of spices, but I didn't have sage and allspice, so I didn't mind buying them and in the future I could just buy the spice since I have the recipe now (which is on the back of the package). Plus, I am a sucker for all things organized, quick and easy. Who can resist a pre made package with all individually all ready measured out amounts of your spices. It was A huge time saver. I am looking forward to dinner with the chicken one.

JR and I both really liked the Apple and Sage Pork Chops. It is defiantly a keeper and I will be making in again. I might even buy the little pre measured pack again, because I accidental ripped the recipe card in half while opening it. Ooops!!

The only ingredient I didn't have was the apples, but we did have apple sauce on the side. I almost forgot to take an a picture!

I haven't used the chicken one, but when I do I will be sure to let you know how that dish turns out.

Also, do you remember
this mothers day post? Well, JR took a a couple beautiful pics to capture all his hard work.

These were my flowers on Friday. I got to enjoy them throughout the house this weekend. Unfortunately, they are in flower heaven now.

And last but not least..... For all you Madison fans, here ya go!!

Madison was feeding the dogs some treats, and I think she must of had one in the farm. They don't usually get so excited to play with her. lol!!
