Suntegrity All Natural Moisturizing Face Protection SPF 30

I know it is the middle of winter, but sun protection isn't just for summertime! You need sun protection all year long. Especially if you are going to be out and about all day doing any winter sports. Snow can reflect up to 85% of the sun’s rays.

For the past couple of years I have been replacing all my cosmetics, bathroom products, and house cleaners to more natural and eco friendly products.

On a recent hunt for a new sunscreen I stumbled across Suntegrity. I am so happy I did. I have found the perfect sun protection. It is all natural, light, and non-greasy. It also has a nice citrus smell, which I love. This sunscreen feels more like a light moisturizer more than a sunscreen. I was also able to apply my makeup right over it with no issue.

Suntegrity All Natural Moisturizing Face Protection with SPF 30 is top rated by the Environmental Working Group’s website (EWG) Cosmetics Database. This means rated low for any toxic chemicals.

This non-toxic sunscreen is is also vegan and cruelty-free. It doesn't contain any parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oils, synthetic dyes, sulfates, paba, titanium dioxide, nano-articles or chemical UV absorbers.

Suntegrity is a physical sunscreen.

Sunscreens can be broken down into two types: physical and chemical.

Physical sunscreens contain minerals such as zinc oxide, titanium dioxide and iron oxide that stay on the skin’s surface. They reflect the sun’s rays and do not get absorbed into the skin.

Chemical sunscreens contain synthetic compounds like parsol, benzophenones and paba as active ingredients. They absorb ultraviolet radiation that causes sunburn, damages DNA and can lead to skin cancer. These chemicals are also being absorbed into the body.

What type of sunscreen have you been using?

Suntegrity Skincare was made in memory of Tricia's mom and all of those who lost their lives to skin cancer. Read more about the company's story HERE. Also, be sure to check out the video section on the website too! You can also checkout Suntegrity on Facebook and Twitter.

If you are looking for a high quality sunscreen with natural ingredients, Suntegrity is for you! I highly recommend it! You can use the coupon code first at to save 20% off your first purchase. Your skin will thank you!

Also a huge thank you to Tricia from Suntegrity for sending me a sample to try. You have a new loyal customer!

Madison Said

Madison has been saying the funniest things lately and I want to remember them. So I figure I better start saving her quotes. I will share them on the blog. So look out for future "Madison Said" posts. Maybe one day I will put them in a journal or scrapbook, maybe even make a little shutterfly book for her.

Here is what happened just a few minutes ago.

Madison: "Come here doggies!"
Dogs run over to her.
Madison: "Clean!" (Madison points to the floor where she dropped a piece of her ice pop).
Dogs proceed to do as instructed and run away.
Madison: "Welcome doggies!"

Hmmm I wonder where she learned that? I teach her well, lol.

Anyone else have vacuum cleaner dogs? :)

Last Weekend- The Creation Museum

We ventured to The Creation Museum and it was so much fun! It was great and I'd love to go back sometime. They have some new events and stuff going on in a few months.
If you live in the area, it is definatly worth the trip. I only took a few pictures, there were tons more to see and do.

We also went to the outlet mall to get Madison some new sneakers. She was wearing size 7 and they were getting snug. The lady at stride rite measured and she was a 8 1/2. Oooops!! They didn't feel a whole size 1/2 to small.

We got her a size 9 and a size 10. Both pairs for under $35.00 Gotta love the outlet mall! I paid over that for her first pair of sneakers at the regular mall. Lesson Learned.

For dinner and some more fun we went to Dave and Busters. We haven't been there in 3 yrs. It is more fun without a toddler, but we had a great time still!

Hope you all are having a great week!!
