Last Spring we enjoyed our first cruise. We decided to go with 7 day Carnival Magic that left from Galveston, Texas. We went with friends and had a wonderful time. It was extremely kid friendly.
We didn't love the ports, but the cruise ship was so much fun.
First stop was Key West, FL. My only goal here was to get a piece to Key Lime Pie!!!
Mission Accomplished!!!! :) It was so good!!
Our second stop was Freeport, Bahamas. This was okay- not as exotic as I hoped for.
Unfortunately, our snorkeling excursion was cancelled due to bad weather :( We still make the best of it though. Our tour guide for the snorkeling was nice enough to give us a ride into the town.
It was a little chilly, but JR and Madison went swimming.
Our next and finale stop was Nassau, Bahamas. This was the best port out of all three, but our schedule/ time was messed up because we had a dolphin encounter experience that was island time and we were going by port time. They wound up getting us to the dolphin island after a delay. So unfortunately, we didn't have much time on the island to enjoy the beach, relax, ect. If we didn't already pay and was committed to the dolphin experience, we would have skipped it.
It was fun to see all the towel animals each day in our room. We went of Easter week, so they had a really cute Easter display at the pool one morning.
